that is one of the biggest sandsharks (dogfish) that I've ever caught. There were bigger ones but I couldn't hoist them up over the railing onto the dock. They were big males on their way to the spawning grounds.
If you chucked a giant bunker head in to the water you were hooked up with one at least 4 feet long on every cast.
