I remember buying Licensed to ill in 5th grade and being a huge Beastie Boys fan my whole life. Adam Yauch's passing is a huge loss for the world of music. Im glad i got the chance to see them perform live. Rest in peace.
I wasn't always a faithful BB listener, but will never forget the time me and a couple others led a bus load of 7th graders in our rendition of "Paul Revere".... Sheriff's posse's on my tail cuz I'm in demand. Best zoo trip ever. They kept putting out respectable pioneering stuff. Shame he's gone so young. He will be missed.
