Happy Mealworm - Hyperspeed Fly Tying Video

This video didn't turn out as great as I wanted. It's a new camera and I'm going to have to tweak the lighting a little on my next vid, and zoom in a little more. It's also my first time editing in Adobe Premiere, but it will give you an idea on how to tie it. I also apologize for the mangled zombie hands. It's cold here and they are dry and cracking/bleeding like crazy. Let me know what you think.

Music:
Skatalites - Phoenix City
Black Moon - Who got the props?

    1. So do my kids. Nothing like 60s Jamaica to get them moving.

  3. Hi, Mike! Thought the video turned out quite well. Simple, but, creative pattern. Not usually a fan of music in the background for video fly tying, but, in this case kind of nice.

    1. I personally get kinda bored with slow videos with a guy talking and breathing heavy the whole time. My target audience isn't typically new to tying so I decided to make it just slow enough to follow and added some fun beats.

  4. I liked it. Kinda like that fast paced kinda video. Music was kool too. Reminds me of Prince Busters Cincinnati Kid. Nice tie, Keep em' rollin

  5. Very good job on the video Mike. I've got a favor to ask. I got pinched taking latex gloves from the doctor's office. Can you come bail me out?

  6. So since my comment did not make it yesterday, I will post it now. Nice video! I have been trying to tie your fly ever since I saw your original post. After watching your video, I now have a better idea on how to do a few steps. Cutting the glove is probably the hardest part. :)

    1. I saw your comment yesterday via email then noticed it was missing from the blog. It happened to someone else too. Weird. To cut the glove, I use an Xacto blade. Much easier than scissors.

  7. I thought I might be the only fly fisherman who appreciates Black Moon. I've been proven wrong. Thanks for the video!
