oh. my. god. that first picture is disgusting. i hit up the east branch today (right where you took the second pic) and it was pretty terrifying as well. i guess i will have to wait till thursday when i have off of work and theres not so many other fisherman.
i got out at 3pm fished till 7:30. walked from new bridge where they stock it to red covered bridge(blooming glen) and caught nothing. i didnt see anyone catch 1 either. opening day blues.
They don't stock above the branch road bridge. Nothing above there besides gills. I just landed one bow and lost about three more at market street on eggs under a thingamabobber.
